Safe2Speak – BPC’s reporting and protected disclosure service

This website is part of the service provided by Stopline Pty Ltd to the Building and Plumbing Commission employees, contractors, and other stakeholders, enabling the reporting of any fraud and/or corruption issues that may adversely impact the BPC, its people, or its reputation. Details about the types of matters that should be reported and the available reporting methods are provided throughout the site. We encourage you to explore the site, where you’ll find access to the Victorian Public Sector Commission’s (VPSC) Code of Conduct, the BPC Fraud and Corruption Control Policy, and answers to frequently asked questions about the reporting service provided by Stopline and how it operates.

For BPC colleagues:

Upholding our obligations under the VPSC Code of Conduct and the BPC Fraud and Corruption Control Policy is essential to achieving our objectives under the BPC’s Trusted Regulator Program where our robust integrity framework requires that all of our people act with the highest standards of probity to ensure that positive consumer outcomes are the focus of what we do.

This includes access to Safe2Speak, the BPC’s reporting and protected disclosure service. Safe2Speak is an independent and confidential reporting service designed to empower you to actively contribute to eliminating fraud and corruption at the BPC.. You can report concerns via telephone, mail, email, fax, or through this website. Importantly, this service allows employees to remain anonymous if they choose. Safe2Speak is available to all BPC employees, contractors, and designated stakeholders, with translation services available upon request.

In addition to the reporting process, this website provides access to the VPSC Code of Conduct, the BPC Fraud and Corruption Control Policy, and answers to frequently asked questions. Safe2Speak is another example of the BPC’s commitment to best practice.
